Snow tubing is a fantastic activity for kids after a day on the slopes or while others are skiing. Snowmass is home to Tube Town on Assay Hill, just nine miles from Aspen, Colorado. Kids 4 years and older and adults less than 150 pounds are welcome from early afternoon well into the evening. It's inexpensive and a whole lot of fun. Typically spring conditions make the tubing season end a couple weeks before the resort does.
