Three out of Aspen's four main resorts offer cat skiing. On the backside of Aspen Mountain a snow cat will take you to the deep powder you've been waiting for. Buttermilk offers snowcat skiing when conditions allow for it. Aspen Highlands has recently started snow cat rides from Loge Peak to Highlands Bowl. You can access some of the best slopes and secret pockets of pow by snowcat.
Snowmass, however, offers free snow cat rides. You won't be able to bring your skis or board but take a ride up the slopes with the groomers and experience their exciting job of grooming. Space is limited so call and make reservations in advance.
