Mountain Information

Snowmass is a huge 3,010 acre mountain with varied terrain perfect for skiing and snowboarding. The mountain boasts half-pipes and terrain parks. Here you can find good terrain for all skill levels, ages, and more.

Snowmass is famous for the Big Burn, although now it has even more to offer with higher and vaster terrain for a wide range of abilities. The Cirque lift is a relatively new addition - it is the longest lift-served vertical in the country.

Snowmass is accessible by free shuttle from anywhere in the Aspen area. It's located only 12 miles from downtown Aspen. Snowmass Village is the only true ski-in/ski-out resort in Colorado. It rests at the base of the mountain.
