Leadville Trail 100 Races
An adventure can be something different for everyone. However, for people who choose to participate in the Leadville Trail 100 Races, adventure is a way of life. This popular Aspen event has the potential to satisfy the most daring people out there.
Leadville, Colorado is home to one of the premier off-road bike races in all of North America. If you want a challenge – this is it. The Leadville Trail 100 is recommended for only the most adventurous people who have trained extensively and want to confront a challenge few dare to take on.
The race consists of an uphill climb over the Colorado high peaks above Twin Lakes. This is a hundred-mile round trip. The highest 100-mile cycle event in the United States, this event is quite unique. As the toughest race of its kind in North America, the Leadville Trail 100 takes place at altitudes ranging from 9,500 feet - 13,000 feet. You can't find a comparable race anywhere else in the nation.
Don't come unprepared if you plan to participate in this event. Train hard, and get ready for the challenge of a lifetime. If you can make it to the finish line, success will be yours.
