Formerly known as Aspen Theatre in the Park, Aspen Theatre has a long and storied history in Aspen. It has a great reputation for bringing professional theatre productions to the Colorado area. It also provides excellent theatre training for actors in Roaring Fork Valley.

Life in Marital Institution

Join us President's Day Weekend for Meredith Vieira's Life in a Marital Institution (20 Years of Monogamy in One Terrifying Hour), starring James Braly.  Runs just over 1 hour.  Suggested for ages 12 and over.

The plays are performed in the Aspen Theatre in the Park tent located behind Rio Grande Park.

Aspen Theatre has a long history of bringing professional theatre productions and theatre training to the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado. Details: This theatre company has been providing entertainment to local residents and visitors since 1983. As a result, the valley has been able to enjoy live drama at its finest. The company produces contemporary, classical, and new plays with the help of local and national talent. Each summer more than 60 shows are put on in a state-of-the-art performance tent, located in the Rio Grande Park. Past productions have included "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," and "An American Daughter." The company also provides theatre training programs for children.
