A celebration of the July 4 with fireworks, food and drinks, kids activities and so much more. Aspen celebrates Independence Day with a whimsical twist. Approximately 20,000 local residents and visitors come together to honor the nation's birthday in true American style. Festivities include a parade, U.S. Airforce flyby, concerts, a kid's bicycle rodeo, and spectacular fireworks over Aspen Mountain.

Annual "America's Birthday Carnival" - The Early Learning Center's kids' carnival takes place in Paepcke Park. It features games, a BBQ, silent auction, bake sale, and souvenirs.
Old Fashioned 4th of July Parade - Takes place down Main St. A whole lot of fun for the whole family.
AVSC Annual Community Picnic - In Koch Park, this event features a BBQ, kids' games, live entertainment and a beer garden.
