Overview: Each year in the summer Snowmass is host to a wild western event - the Snowmass Village Rodeo. Who would expect to find such an experience in a place like Snowmass, known for its winter activities and excellent skiing? 

When: From the middle of June to mid-August. This year the events take place every Wednesday from June 14th to August 23rd, 2017.

Where: Snowmass Village Rodeo Grounds

Details: Of course, locals know that some of the best times are had in the summer, so if you plan on taking a trip to the Aspen/Snowmass area any time soon, consider coming in July and August.

The Snowmass Village Rodeo takes place every Wednesday night, starting in the middle of June. The event runs all the way to the middle of August. There are tons of fun events to enjoy, including bronco riding.

Pre-rodeo events include a saloon, shopping, pony rides, a BBQ, a petting zoo, and mechanical bull riding. Events taking place after the rodeo are: A campfire sing-along and shopping.
