The lineup of summer events and activities runs the gamut from a nine-week live music series to Aspen's first outdoor movie theater, lawn bowling leagues, an outdoor weekly marketplace and monthly street fairs.

For the indoor types, resort services are plentiful. Also, you can shop the fashionable boutiques or head to any of the town's fine museums. No matter what your interests, Aspen Highlands is sure to deliver a top-notch vacation. Even if it is summer!

Maroon Bells
Aspen Highlands is the Gateway to the Bells. Thousands of visitors will pass through Aspen Highlands in summer destined for the most photographed peaks in North America – Maroon Bells. To accommodate the bus riders, the merchants are offering specials on their products and meals, including picnic baskets. Aspen Highlands also serves as a great après venue to celebrate the outdoor experience with the local shops and restaurants.

Hot Air Ballooning
Enjoy an amazing view from high above the Rockies in a hot air balloon. It makes for quite a romantic rendezvous!
