To ski Aspen Mountain at least once is every skiers dream, but you can experience many a unique adventure besides just skiing and snowboarding here. In addition to strolling around Aspen trying to spot a celebrity (and you’ll surely find one or two), you can take to the snow-covered wilderness in a variety of ways that will lend a terrific flair to your vacation.

Snowmobiling
Snowmobile tours are popular in Aspen, with stunning views from all sides. Get a guide to provide you with a state-of-the-art machine and include any of the gear you need, as well as instruction. You can get out there to see the surrounding mountain landscapes in style.

Ice skating
Both indoor and outdoor ice-skating are available for you around Aspen. A trip around the rink will loosen up those stiff muscles from a day on the slopes.

Sleigh rides
Take a romantic sleigh ride in the Aspen area to really get the feel of the peace and tranquility of these beautiful Rocky Mountains. Horse-drawn sleighs give you the old-fashioned pleasure of a trip in the mountain forests.

Nordic/cross-country skiing

Dog sledding
